If you arrive in London during the first week of September and don't immediately have a place to stay, IESC's Welcome Team volunteers, will guide you in locating a temporary place to stay (e.g. a reasonably priced bed and breakfast home or in a hotel for a few days). After that, our volunteers can give you tips on how to look for permanent housing.
Whether you are planning to stay in a bed and breakfast or a hotel, please call ahead to check availability and make a reservation. Identify yourself as a newly-arrived international student coming to Western - some places offer discounted rates for Western students.
Note: The information below may change without notice.
Bed and breakfast homes (‘B&Bs’) are similar to a small-sized hotel; they charge visitors per night and provide breakfast in the morning. Prices can range between $50 - $130 per night and some homes may provide a discount to students or visitors staying for an extended period of time. The following bed and breakfast homes are reasonably priced and close to Western.
There are a few small independent hotels located near Western and a number of larger hotels located in downtown London. Prices of hotels vary greatly and they can be generally more expensive than bed and breakfasts.
The independent hotels below are reasonably priced and close to Western.
