International Student Orientation Schedule of Events
International Student Orientation begins August 26 with the opening of the Welcome Centre and will continue throughout the month of September! International Student Orientation events do not require an OPass.
Our hybrid orientation program includes virtual information sessions as well as exciting in-person social events to help you meet new friends and feel at home at Western.
*Note: Community events are included as optional events in the schedule. We encourage you to make plans with new friends or explore on your own. Global Cafe is a great place to meet people, get directions, and make weekend plans.
Meet with an International Student Advisor
As a new student, you are encouraged to connect with an advisor during your first month at Western to get personalized advice and learn more about how they can support you throughout your time here. Drop-in appointments are available September 3 - 27 from 1 - 4 pm at Western International (2nd Floor, International and Graduate Affairs Building).
International Student Advisors will also be present at many of the orientation events and sessions listed below- see you there!
